Visions From Afar

Visions From Afar

My eyes are closed my mind is clear
I'm seeing visions from afar
Something seems to be telling me
Hey keep searching for who you are
Visions from afar

I'm seeing the musical scale
On the fretboard as it lies
Comprehending notation
As the music slowly dies

Visions of modern day lives
Visions that make me realize
Visions that shed no tears
Visions without fear

I sense tensions from my visions
As I feel the music rise
Comprehending my tonal flow
As the music really flies

Pieces of my body are becoming torn apart
Transforming to the music coming from my heart
Filtering through the cloudy haze
To brighten the darkest of days
